Mobilization of
international musicians
MUSIC4LIFE
Dessine l'Espoir and Designing Hope developped for World Aids Day,
on the first of December 2005, the concept of an event mobilizing international
musicians around the campaign message "I Love You Positive or Negative"
to fight stigma towards people living with HIV and AIDS.
CONCEPT
15 famous singers, have signed this message of tolerance
to brake stigma and discrimination affecting people living with HIV and
AIDS:
Keren
Ann, Cali, Johnny Clegg, M, Marc Lavoine, Bertrand Belin, Tom Mc Rae,
Sansévérino, Véronique Sanson, la Grande Sophie,
Alain Souchon, Chris Stills, Tété, Laurent Voulzy, Zazie.
Through their message, and support of their
web sites, fan
clubs, and for some of them concerts, they helped destigmatize HIV amongst
their public.

SOUTH
AFRICAN MOBILIZATION
In 2006, South
African famous singers and musicians have joined this international mobiization.
Zola, Kabelo, Dozi, Gloria Bosman, Judith Sephuma and Zama Jobe have signed
the message already, and a collaboration with M-Net Television channel
will help spread their message to a large public.

Auction in Paris
Prototypes and original messages signed by the artists, and an exclusive
real guitar offered by Gibson and signed by all artists have been auctioned
on the 22nd of November 2005 by Remy Le Fur at the Intercontinental Grand
Hotel Paris to the exclusive profit of Dessine l'Espoir to fund its actions
in Africa.
20000 euros have been raised at this occasion.

Music4life - Soweto
Music4Life supports an income generating initiative developped by Designing
Hope and Ithemba for groups of women and younger people affected by HIV/AIDS
and powerty in Soweto - South Africa.
It is combining the tradition of bead work with a very modern and hip
application:
beaded guitar broches
reproduicing the famous artists guitars.
They are packaged together with a reproduction of the artist's picture,
message and signature.

Women meet at the Malebese premises in Soweto, regain confidence and self
esteem,
and generate some susbstential income.
EMBROIDED T-SHIRTS
An
other group of women in Swaziland reproduice guitars and messages on T-shirts.
These T-shirts are sold in Europe to finance the free distribution of
similar awareness T-shirts in Africa.
