Dessine l’Espoir has been a growing actor since 2003 in the fight
against HIV AIDS, especially in Africa. In 2005, the NGO developped an
international campaign fighting HIV & AIDS related stigma with the
campaign: "I
Love You Positive or Negative".
International personalities (musicians,
artists
and mediatic
african celebrities) have been supporting this message to sensitize
more people in countries highly affected by the pandemic.
The launch of “One
Month of Love”,
an innovative concept developped with Ithemba, is a new step for this
campaign in Europe.

COLLECTOR
This
useful and playful booklet is an
original display for an exhibition catalogue, including artworks from
contemporary artists supporting the "I
Love You Positive or Negative"
campaign
("Artists4life"
Projet),
printed on 24 cases containing one condom. Some messages
supporting the campaign are also printed on these boxes.
USEFUL
This
booklet is an original way of promoting condoms in European countries
where use of condoms is facing a dangerous decrease. "Fnac"
stores have already confirmed their support to "One Month Of Love"
for lauching and distributing this booklet in their network of art and
culture items stores.\
PLAYFUL
“One Month of love” is created in a format similar to an Advent
Calendar
also starting on World Aids Day, the first of december.
Each condom once detached from the booklet reveals a message or another
visual.
SOLIDARITY
Ithemba,
who imagined and designed this innovative concept, distributes the calendar
within its network.
Distribution: www.ithemba.fr
A donation of 4 Euros attached to each booklet sold contributes to the
free distribution in Africa of condoms
packed in a similar way. The
“I Love You Positive or Negative” message have been translated
into several languages and reproduced on the packs along with signatures
of African icones supporting the campaign.
This was organized together
with the I
Love You Positive or Negative" TV campaign organised in partnership
with two major TV channels : ETV et MNET.
Short 30 seconds clips broadcasting 20 South African "Messangers"
from various backgrouds (singers, actors, sportsmen, TV presenters...)
and giving their personal approach of the campaign message “I Love
You Positive or Negative" have been displayed between the programs
of these two channels.
